Campaign for a resilient liveable city that has tackled the social model of disability where walking, wheeling, and cycling is enabled and a real travel choice for all ages and abilities.
I rode down there yesterday. Getting off and pushing is not necessary and actually makes it even harder for people to pass each other as you are now twice as wide as you would be slowly riding your bike. To be honest it needs people to take it really carefully down there. It will be closed again when they attempt the bridge again and looking at the site, they will be digging up the whole path afterwards and laying a new surface. I did not see the ramp being built.
Good news. But the web page says ‘temporary’ and we have to get off and push! http://bit.ly/1sDXz95
