Members of Walk Ride Bath have spent many hours composing a comprehensive, easy to follow, response to Bath and North East Somerset Council’s Bath Walking Wheeling Cycling Schemes.

There is much that is highly problematic and potentially dangerous (advisory cycle lanes on busy roads and isolated routes through parks). There is much to be praised, particularly some sections of the Oldfield School to Newbridge Hill route. There are also missed opportunities, particularly Queen Square, Weston High Street, creating a link from the RUH to the Circus & Lansdown Liveable Neighbourhood, and creating a rare north south route from Oldfield Park to Lansdown.

The consultation closes at midnight on Monday the 2nd of December. We encourage you to submit your own response.
