The impact on Sustainable Transport modes (walking, wheeling, cycling, scooting, and public bus services) the proposed new Lidl site would have on London Road is frankly alarming.

As Ward Councillor for Lambridge I have Objected to the planning application 23/02212/FUL for a superstore on the London Road, Lambridge, Bath.

This site is not in keeping with the polices CR1, CP12 and CR4.
Provision of a supermarket in this location will have a significant adverse effect on the vitality and viability of nearby local shopping centres, such as Larkhall, Batheaston and the London Road (Beaufort and Walcot section).
